FAQ

What is a modular home?
The definition of "modular' is employing or involving a module or modules as the basis of design or construction. These modules or pieces are designed, engineered and built in a clean, modern, climate controlled facility; thus eliminating many challenges associated with traditional outdoor site building. The completed modules are delivered to your site and assembled by your builder at which time the interior & exterior are finished.

How long does it take to build a modular home?
Once you make your decision to build with American Living, you will receive delivery within three to four months depending on your specifications. These sections then are assembled on your site in 1-3 days at which time we begin the interior and exterior finishing. This finish work, comprised of drywall, trim, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, decks, porches, among others, is typically completed within 6-12 weeks depending on the size and complexity of the project.
